Post 3: My Favorite Cartoon

Since I was little (I don't remenber my age exactly) I have felt a deep interest in anime, the cartoons from USA seem to me a little monotone, and anime doesn't have this problem, in fact, there are many different types of genres for each public, from deep stories (like "Evangelion") to absurd comedies (like "School Rumble"). In anime world, you can finnd anything you like haha.

One the animes that left a mark in me was Dragon Ball Z. I have watched it since I was a child and I have to admit that it is my favourite anime. The story is about Goku and his journey searching the dragon balls, seven magic balls that grant you a wish if you can get a lot of them. In his journey, looking for the dragon balls, Goku will try very hard to become the best martial artist. Goku is a very inocent and pure person, who will always try to do good.

When I was little, this anime made me believe that my whisers could come true if a worked really hard to archieve them. These lessons stay with me until this day and that's why I think this anime is so important to me.

Eventually Goku grows up and became an adult, and I grew up too, even though I still feel like a kid sometimes haha

Post 5: My Future Job

Since I was child I have wanted to work in creative industries as an animator or cartoonits. My idea has always been to work drawing comics because I like to draw a lot, and then make them into animations so they can reach to more people.  I guess that was the reason I decided to study graphic design, because if I studied in a career that  is similar to animation I could get better tools to archieve my dream job. Fortunately I have got them. However, life takes different paths, consequently my plans divert too. Now, with my new knowledge gained,  I would like to have my own studio nearby my home, and work with my partner selling t-shirts made with  serigraphy. Both of us will take care of each desing (colours, layout, typography, illustration, among others) and printing (frames, textile painting, and other tools), therefore it will be original and unique.  Right now that is my dream and I know that we can archieve it soon. However, it doesn't mean that I abandon...

Post 1: A Country I would like to visit

I would like to go to Japan, because I am kind of an otaku (haha) and really love that country aesthetics. I know that japanese people is very reserved and are always busy. I am also aware that schools and jobs are very time consuming and demanding. They hang out in places like karaokes, arcades, bars, and like to go drinking after work. If I went to Japan I would like to go to comics or manga shops, see the sakura trees blossom, try the food like ramen and the real sushi, go to Hashiko's memorial, and go shopping. But the thing I would like to do the most is go to a summer fest or Matsuri and see the fireworks. I don't think I would like to live there because life is very expensive, so I would just visit.

Post 4: How Green are you?

The enviorenmental pollution is a serius problem of which the previous generation never worried about. I think that people have started to solve it only recently because the consequences of pollution are afectting our daily life and could become an irreversible issue. I believe that each one of us should learn how to make environmental-friendly acts, such as using you own reusable bag instead of plastic bags(I guess the material can be cloth, paper, among others that allow you to use it more than once), try to recycle plastic products, plant trees or other plants in the garden or in the streets, and many other activities. In my case, I have a cloth bag, with a cat stamp, that I carry with me wherever I go. Also I ride my bike to go to work, to the store, and other places that aren’t far away. Even if the actions that I do are small, I think that they help to reduce the enviorenmental pollution, because it works like a grain of sand, one that every one of us should contribute with. I do...
