What are some of your favourite hobbies / pastimes?

Many tastes are going to change with time, but play basketball has been a hobby that I have done from small.🏀

I started practicing it since I was 7 years old. A teacher told me that I was very tall for my age, so he taught me the basics of basketball: how to throw, how to handle the ball, how not to commit fouls, among many others, and after a few games, basketball had already enchanted me. I really liked it because it was easy for me to put the ball in the basket, I was very good (not wanting to show off), which motivated me to continue practicing it. Now I play almost every weekend and train every Wednesday because I am part of the FAU team.

Another of the hobbies I have since childhood is drawing. I always liked comics and cartoons, so I wanted to do them on my own. So I started drawing almost every day, I can't deny that at the beginning I didn't do so well, but as the saying "practice makes the teacher" so I practiced and practiced. Now my technique in drawing is very good, but I don't have much free time to do it, the university spends a lot of time and energy so I draw occasionally.
My artistic name is CocodriloVolador 🐊 and this is a drawing made by me.

I think these two are the hobbies that most identify me. I know there are many more but that will be for another blog hehe😉✨

Post 5: My Future Job

Since I was child I have wanted to work in creative industries as an animator or cartoonits. My idea has always been to work drawing comics because I like to draw a lot, and then make them into animations so they can reach to more people.  I guess that was the reason I decided to study graphic design, because if I studied in a career that  is similar to animation I could get better tools to archieve my dream job. Fortunately I have got them. However, life takes different paths, consequently my plans divert too. Now, with my new knowledge gained,  I would like to have my own studio nearby my home, and work with my partner selling t-shirts made with  serigraphy. Both of us will take care of each desing (colours, layout, typography, illustration, among others) and printing (frames, textile painting, and other tools), therefore it will be original and unique.  Right now that is my dream and I know that we can archieve it soon. However, it doesn't mean that I abandon...

Post 3: My Favorite Cartoon

Since I was little (I don't remenber my age exactly) I have felt a deep interest in anime, the cartoons from USA seem to me a little monotone, and anime doesn't have this problem, in fact, there are many different types of genres for each public, from deep stories (like "Evangelion") to absurd comedies (like "School Rumble"). In anime world, you can finnd anything you like haha. One the animes that left a mark in me was Dragon Ball Z. I have watched it since I was a child and I have to admit that it is my favourite anime. The story is about Goku and his journey searching the dragon balls, seven magic balls that grant you a wish if you can get a lot of them. In his journey, looking for the dragon balls, Goku will try very hard to become the best martial artist. Goku is a very inocent and pure person, who will always try to do good. When I was little, this anime made me believe that my whisers could come true if a worked really hard to archieve them. These les...

Post 2 : Songs and Memories

When I was a little I didn't listen to a lot of music. I remember I had two or three songs in an old cellphone and I used to listen to them every once in a while. But when I grew up I started to take interest in more music and bands, and now my cellphone is full of music that I like a lot. One of those bands was Mago de Oz. I started to listening it  with my brothers  when I was a 14 years old. Their song, Molinos de Viento, is very especial to me, because when I listen to it, it brings back the memories when my family and I went to the south of Chile  on vacation . We used to play it on a huge speaker when we went for a walk in the countryside, so every animal could listen to the song haha. I can imagine the cows dancing to the rhythm of the music. Another band which brings memories more recently is Low Roar, especially their song I'll keep coming. When I listen to it I got goose skin because the lyrics are very intense and reminds me of a videogame that I used to ...
